Challenge was: is it possible to create a porcelain brush
– which is better than the best Kolinsky quality
– with a superior sharpness and stability at the tip
– with a beautiful resilience
– which has a lifetime much much longer than Kolinsky
N.era brushes are manufactured out of a space-age filament, never seen yet in the dental industry. We are talking here of a polyamide like fiber which undergoes several special chemical treatments.
The properties (resilience, water absorbtion, stability at the tip) are equal or better than the highest quality of Kolinsky hair.
As soon as we talk about lifetime, N.era is far superior to Kolinsky as it lasts much longer (actually the first prototypes which have been used during our development months ago are still working like the first day).
Finally another aspect is also determining for us. We aim for supplying our customers not only with the highest quality but also a constant quality. Because of its production process, because of its nature, N.era brush batch #1 and N.era brush batch #999 will be exactly the same.
