– Equipped with 5500°K (daylight) calibrated L.E.D. (Light Emitting Diodes), Smile Lite provides natural and neutral light, stable and reliable regardless of the time of the day or the weather outside (sunny or cloudy).

Smile Lite uses powerful, high quality surface-mounted L.E.Ds that last 30,000-50,000 hours. A rechargeable Li-Ion battery is integrated ; charge is done with the supplied mini-USB cable, connected either to your PC or simply plugged into the wall.

Smile Lite is very simple to use – just one on/off button. It is very light weight, compact and ergonomic.

Unique and revolutionary – live-polarization

Inspired from the works of famous lecturers and clinicians, among them L. Vanini (1996) and S. Papazoglou (2006), together with our Partner Styleitaliano (a group of passionate researchers and clinicians – www.styleitaliano.org) and Oral Design member George Ioannou (Athens, Greece), we finalized the development of a special polarizing filter that produces near to zero light interference easily adaptable to Smile Lite. This « magical » filter amazingly annihilates light reflection (specular and diffuse) and allows the user to observe the teeth in a totally new way : easier appreciation of color, better understanding of the depth and transparencies, enhancement of the tiniest details and characterizations.

The live-polarization filter is packaged as a set with the Smile Lite. The filter can be attached to the Smile Lite with magnets, which allows for easy connection or removal.

Smile Lite was developed by Smile Line, as much for the technical aspect as for its design. Mounting of the electronic components is done in Switzerland. Smile Lite is assembled with strict quality control in Smile Line’s factory in St-Imier in Switzerland.

Smile Capture is a set of accessories that allows you to couple your Smile Lite and your smartphone for producing professional and high quality pictures and video every day, with much simplicity and self-education.

Smile Capture allows taking pictures without or with the polarizing filter.
The concept is composed of a calibration box, a set of calibration cards and of adaptors for coupling smartphones and Smile Lite. Very important, an App (download for free on AppStore or PlayStore) was developed as a full part of Smile Capture.

The product was initially launched on the market working with the most recent generations of iPhones (4-4S-5-5S-6-6plus). Today, after a new development done with Samsung smartphones, an Android version is now available.

Photo-CAD LOW is a totally unique tool which allows to retract in one and same action both the cheek and the tongue during « occlusal » image captures of a lower quadrant.
It allows to make the arch free by keeping aside the soft tissues. Photo- CAD LOW also makes optical scanned-impressions of lower preparations much more easy.
For the best results, it is required to insert completely inside the lips the cheek protection plate. In a second step -for dental photography- rotate downwards the anterior part of Photo-CAD LOW for allowing the insertion of the mirror . The use of a « lateral » mirror for the occlusal photo shooting is advised.

Photo-CAD UP is a cheek retractor which can be used every day. Its function when in use for dental photography will be to retract the vestibular soft tissues in the area upper pre-molar/ molar during « occlusal » image capture. It will be of great help too during optical scanned-impressions for Cad-CAM systems.
It can be bent more or less close to the handle depending on the desired retraction surface.
Photo-CAD UP can be used in the upper area as much as in the lower in many working phases (ex : conservative, preps, surgery, etc.) as a very comfortable retractor for both dentist and patient.

Cleaning and desinfection
Wash the Photo-CAD using tap water and soap, scrubbing with a soft sponge (do not use fibers or metal brushes). Sterilization procedure should be done afterwards.
Photo-CAD stelirilization shall be done in autoclave at 135 °C (wet heat) for 15 minutes. Do not sterilize over 210 °C.
Do not dry sterilize.
Photo-CAD is resistant to alcohols, phenols, glutaraldehyde, their mixtures and other mercury free desinfectants.

Do not expose Photo-CAD to sunlight for an extended time.
Do not dry sterilize.
